Ragi Badam Milkshake Recipe - Finger Millet Milkshake Recipe - Healthy Breakfast Smoothie Recipes


This is one drink which i made recently and i am in love with it. This is great for breakfast during hot summer days, since having hot ragi malt is impossible these days. 



I made a chocolate version for me and this plain badam version for hubby. He loved it so much. You will never find ragi added in this drink unless mentioned. The ragi just act as a thickening agent and gives a nice creamy texture to the smoothie. I used badam milk mix powder in this, you can use normal powdered badam or any nuts as you like.

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 5 mins
Serves: 2

Ingredients:

Ragi Flour / Finger Millet Flour - 2 to 3 tblspn

Water - 1/2 cup
Badam Milk Powder or Almond Powder - 2 tblspn
Cold Milk - 2 cups
Sugar to taste

Method:


Take ragi flour in a sauce pan, add in water and mix well so no lumps is formed. Now cook this on low heat till it thickens. 


Take it off the heat and  cool this mixture.


Take it in a blender, add in sugar, badam milk powder and milk and blend till creamy.


Pour into glass and chill before serving.

keep mixing and cook for 2 to 3 mins

cool this down and add it in a blender


add sugar

I used my homemade badam milk powder mix

add a good tblspn of it in, you can use normal badam powder as well

add milk

pure till smooth

chill before serving

Enjoy cold
