Hai Friends…Hope you had a great day…I am having my Happiest Days in my Life…
Its raining heavily over here.I particularly like this weather a lot..This is the time when you can bundle up yourselves in blankets and drink tons and tons of piping hot coffee…I don’t feel like cooking today,so we have ordered some delicious food from near by restaurant,I am getting hungry already,waiting for the food to get arrived… YUM YUM..

YES…I am getting married to my loved one soon…We waited so long for this (ofcourse for years).And finally we made it..I am in my peak of happiness,just floating in skies and clouds(he he)..Marriage will be somewhere between next may,why such long time means we have so many things to be done before marriage..So still have to wait for a few months..And I will…

In order to celebrate this special day,I have a special cake for it…Yes Angel’s Food cake..Can you hear Angel’s singing next to me..
This cake is traditionally done in a bundt pan or a angel food cake pan..But I made this in regular pan and it came out great..The main thing in this is the cake rises beautifully in the oven, but it sinks a little when you take out ,because of that pan..But the cake came out so soft and tasty…
If you have one of that cake pan you can bake in that..you will get perfect cake…If you wish to decorate that cake you can cut it like that and proceed…

Sugar-1 cup powdered / 200 gms
Flour-1 cup / 120 gms
Baking powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Almond essence-1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Lemon juice-1 tsp
For Icing and Decorating:
Whipped cream-as needed
Sprinkles as needed
White chocolate curls as needed
Preheat the oven to 170°C(350°F)…Butter a baking pan and dust it with flour and tip away the excess flour..
Take half of the powdered sugar and the flour in a bowl and mix well..Sift this two for 3 times..
Separate 10 eggs and place the egg whites in a large bowl.Start beating it together until it gets foamy..
Add in Half of the sugar and beat till it gets stiff…
Add in vanilla,almond essence,lemon juice,baking powder,salt and beat well..
Add in the sifted flour and fold gently till combined..
Pour this in the large mould and bake it in the oven for 40-45 mins..
Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely on wire rack..
Cut this cake in the middle and add a dollop of whipped cream and sandwich it with the other piece..
Cover the entire cake with whipped cream and decorate it with white chocolate curls and sprinkles…
Chill and serve…
|Grab your ingrediants|
|Sift your flour and sugar thrice..|
|Separate your eggs and take your egg whites in a bowl..|
|Pour that in a mixing bowl and start beating it…|
|Beat it till fluffy|
|add in sugar and beat it …|
|add in the lemon juice|
|Salt and Baking powder…|
|a dash of Almond Essence…|
|Tip in the flour and fold gently…|
|Till it is combined…|
|Pour this in the well prepared tin and bake.It will rise in oven and sink when taken out,still it will be so soft..Let it cool down and cut it in the middle…|
|In the mean time whip some cream…|
|Add a dollop of cream in the middle and sandwich it with the other slice…and cover it entirely..|
|Cover the Entire cake with cream…|
|Prepare your white chocolate curls …|
|Top the cake with this…and some sprinkles…|
