This is a variety of sundal or upma which i made yesterday for navrathri and offered as prasadam to lord. You can make this and serve as breakfast too.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 3 to 4
Poha / Aval – 3 cups
Cooked Chana (chickpeas) – 1 cup
Water – 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tblspn
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli – 2 broken
Green Chilli – 1 chopped finely
Curry leaves a sprig
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
Coconut – 1/2 cup grated
Take poha in a bowl, Add in water and mix well. Let it sit for 5 mins.Add salt and turmeric to it and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan, crackle all seasoning from mustard till asafoetida and let it sizzle.
Add in channa and toss well.
Add poha and toss well.
Add in coconut and mix well.

|add dry chilli, green chilli and curry leaves|
