Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Beetroots – 2 grated
Yellow Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
Oil – 1 tblspn
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Water as needed
Method:
Soak moong dal for 1 hour.Drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and urad dal. Let them sizzle.
Add beetroot and saute them for a while. Add in moong dal and mix well. Add little water and cover it with a lid. Cook this for 15 mins till dal is cooked.
Add chilli powder and salt and mix well.
Serve.
