    About Corn flour Halwa

Corn flour halwa is also called as karachi halwa is a popular sweet around north india. It is a delicious and easy to make sweet to make for diwali. This particular halwa is jelly like texture which will be popular with kids.

You need corn flour, sugar, ghee, water, nuts and cardamom powder to make this sweet. Halwa is made using basic ingredients to create a delicious diwali sweet.

You could either make this halwa in a pan on stove top or take the easy route and cook in microwave. I prefer cooking it on stove top for even cooking and improved texture.

Karachi halwa is made in lots of flavours. Some of the popular flavours are pineapple, pistachios, strawberry, elachi and mango.
