I love self saucing puddings. I have shared quite a bit of self saucing pudding on my blog before. This Caramel apple pudding is a delicious sticky dessert which can be made in few minutes.
All you need is few basic ingredients and some apples. Together within 10 minutes you can create this masterpiece.
When the weather gets cold you can make this caramel apple pudding to warm you up. The addition of cinnamon to apples makes this dessert to heavenly.

HOW TO MAKE STICKY CARAMEL APPLE PUDDING
Apples: apples make a important ingredient in this pudding. it is the hero of this dish. use firm crisp apples.
Dry Ingredients: mix together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt in a mixing bowl until just combined.
Wet Ingredients: add milk and apples to form a thick batter.
The sticky sauce: mix butter, salt, vanilla, brown sugar and hot water in a jug for this pudding. The sauce is the hero of this dish and it makes the pudding super moist and saucy.
Serving: once the pudding is baked, serve it hot or warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which is must.

- All you need is a mixing bowl for this recipe. Dump all ingredients together and mix well.
- Don't reduce the brown sugar, it creates a beautiful sauce.

Sticky Caramel Apple Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 large Apples peeled and sliced thinly
- ¾ cup All Purpose Flour | Maida (90 grams)
- ½ cup Sugar (100 grams)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ½ cup Milk (120 ml)
- ¼ tsp Salt
FOR SAUCE
- ¼ cup Unsalted Butter
- ¾ cup Brown Sugar (150 grams)
- ¾ cup Hot Water (180 ml)
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat Oven to 190 degree C.
- Take flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Add in oil, milk and mix well.
- Add in apples and mix well.
- Spoon this into a baking pan and spread evenly.
- Now mix brown sugar, butter, salt, hot water and vanilla in a jug and mix well.
- Now pour this over the apple mixture gently.
- Pop this into the oven and bake for 40 mins.
- Remove and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Now scoop this into a serving plate and serve with a dollop of icecream.

Hi do we need oil in this? In step 3 you said add oil and milk.
How much oil we need.
