Gooey Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe – Eggless Version

Pudding cake is one of my all time favorite. I love the moist and chocolate rich pudding cake with its own rich chocolate sauce.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 30 mins
Serves: 4 to 5


Ingredients:


For Cake:
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup / 120 grams
Cocoa Powder – 3 tblspn
Sugar – 3/4 cup / 150 grams
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Melted Butter – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
Milk – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp


For Topping:
Sugar – 1/4 cup / 50 grams
Cocoa Powder – 3 tblspn
Brown Sugar – 1/4 cup / 50 grams
Hot Water – 1 cup / 240 ml


(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

Method: 

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a baking pan with butter and set aside.

Now take all ingredients given in the cake list in a bowl and mix well. The batter will be thick.

Now spoon this into the pan and spread evenly.

Now take the topping ingredients in a bowl, except water and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture all over the cake and pour hot water gently over it.

Now pop this in oven and bake 25 to 30 mins.

Now remove this and set aside to cool for 5 mins.

Scoop and serve with icecream.

Take all your ingredients
take flour in a bowl
add in cocoa powder
add in baking powder
add in salt
add in sugar
mix well
add in oil
add in milk
mix to a thick batter
spoon this into a greased pan
spread evenly
now make the topping, take cocoa powder
add brown sugar
add sugar
mix well
sprinkle this all over the cake
like this
pour over hot water
now pop this in oven and bake
bake till done
scoop and serve
serve with vanilla icecream
