    Fruit and Nut Chocolates Recipe

I must have posted this yesterday, since this is a real treat for valentines day..I made this to give it for my sweet heart, but unluckily it got over that say itself..Thanks for my sisters….Hmm... I should make it some other day for him.

This chocolate is so rich, Since it has all nuts available on earth..You can add apricots, dates, walnuts and anything which floats your boat..you can use milk chocolate or any chocolate you like..I used a double boiler for this, but you could melt the chocolate in microwave too..I hope you will try this soon and present it for your loved ones.

Ingredients for Fruit & Nut Chocolate

    • Dark Chocolate - 350 gms
    • Cashews - 50 gms / ½ cup
    • Badam / Almonds - 50 gms / ½ cup
    • Sultanas / Kishmish - 50 gms / ½ cup
    • Tutti Frutti - ½ cup ( I used Orange & Green )
    • Mould of your choice
    • Butter - 1 teaspoon for greasing the moulds

How to Make Fruit & Nuts Chocolate

    • First take whatever moulds you like and grease it with butter.Set this aside for a moment.
    • Melt the chocolate either in double boiler method or in a microwave. Remove it and set aside.
    • Chop up all your nuts and dried fruits. Add it to the chocolate and mix well.
    • Take a spoonful of this and fill your prepared mould and put it in the deep freeze for 1 hour.
    • Un mould it and keep it in the fridge until serving.
    • Enjoy as it is or pack it and give as gifts.

      HII ARTI, GREAT JOB!!!
WAT SUBSTITUTE WOULD U RECOMMEND FOR TUTI FUITY?
AND HOW LONG DOES IT HAVE TO COOK WITH ALL THE CHOCOLATE AND BADAMS ETC MIXED UP?

      Reply
    33. Aarthi

      at

@shravanthiyou can use any glaced fruits in stead of tutti fruity or simply leave that off. You don't need to cook it after you have added the nut mixture. Melt the chocolate take it off the heat and add in the nuts and mix well.

@SonaU can toast the nuts in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 10 mins till it is toasted, then cool it down and add to the chocolate. You can toast them in a oil less pan on a low heat as well
