food in our breakfast when I was with my mom. She used to make it different
each time, everything taste great. I learned few recipes from my mother and now
I am making it at my home. This one is the basic upma recipe which can be made
in less than 15 mins.
simple seasoned poha, this is so light on the tummy but has lots of fiber in
it. I hope you will like it.
spring finely chopped
Kaduku - 1 tsp
paruppu - 1 tblspn
sprinkle some water over it and mix well with your hands. Add some salt to it
and mix well. Set this aside till use.
kadai. Add in mustard and urad dal and let it sizzle.
chilli and curry leaves and mix well.
cook for a couple of mins.
prepared poha mixture and toss well in the oil so that everything gets heated
grated coconut and mix well.
|Take all your ingredients|
|Season the poha with some salt, sprinkle some water over it and mix well with your hands|
|Heat oil in a kadai|
|add in mustard and urad dal|
|add in a pinch of asafoetida|
|now add in onions, curry leaves, green chillies|
|add some salt and mix well|
|let it cook for a min or so|
|now add the prepared poha mixture|
|and toss well|
|add in some coconut|
|and mix well|
