Yesterday my long term wish came true..I always wanted to have a  own domain name for my blog and finally I received it..I am really really excited about this..So to celebrate this special occasion I am delivering you this awesome recipe. The cool thing is, it is really hard to find difference between this and the normal jamuns..I made this couple of weeks back and my little sister had this and she liked it so much, actually she couldn’t find any difference between this and those normal jamuns. I have a recipe of Khoya Jamuns in my blog, you can check it here..

If you have a horrible sweet craving and need something sweet instantly you can whip up this goodness..It is so simple to make and ofcourse no hard to eat..This is made with bread, you can use up any leftover bread slices to make this yummy jamuns…You can make this for parties or for kids, this hardly take us anytime to make but the result is pretty impressive..
I hope you all love it and let me know what you think..
Ingrediants:
Bread – 6 slices
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom  / Yelakai- 4
Water – 1/2 cup
Method:
Cut off the rims of the bread pieces and dip them in milk. Squeeze off the excess and put it in a blender.
Pulse it for few times so that it is lump free. Now make small balls out of it and fry them in hot oil in a low flame..
Fry till golden, don’t fry it so much or else it wont absorb the syrup. Remove this to a paper towel..
Make sugar syrup by taking sugar, cardamom and water in a sauec pan and bring it to boil.
Boil it for 5 mins untill it reaches sticky stage..Take a spoonful of syrup and put it over a plate, once it is cooled rub it with your fingers it should feel slightly sticky.
Now pour the  hot syrup over the fried jamuns and cover it with a plate or plastic wrap. Let it rest for atleast 3-4 hours before serving.
Serve with icecream or on its own
Pictorial:
Take all your ingrediants
take your bread slices
cut off the rims
take milk in a shallow bowl
dip the bread slices in milk
squeeze off the excess
put it in a blender
and pulse it for few seconds
tip the crumbs to a plate
make small balls out it
heat oil
drop the jamuns in oil
fry in a slow flame
fry ..
fry..
it has got light golden
now it is a little darker
this is what you are looking for
transfer to a plate
now make sugar syrup
add cardamom
and water
bring it to a boil
till it reaches sticky stage
keep the syrup in a low flame
tranfer the jamuns to a shallow bowl..
pour over the syrup
and mix well
cover and let it rest for 2 hours
Now this has absorbed all syrup..
Serve
YUMMY RIGHT

@AnonymousPulse it for a few times means..You should add the bread into the blender or food processor and click the button for few times.so that any lumps from the bread will break down.

@Samuel WisemI think u didn't squeeze the bread properly. You can add some bread into that mixture and mix them well. So the bread absorbs the excess moisture.
