This pudding is healthy and is a natural coolant for our body. It is made with coconut milk, agar agar, sugar and flavoured with cardamom.
Super easy pudding recipe which needs minimum ingredients. Try and use fresh thick coconut milk in this, because it makes the dish shine.
Also instead of sugar you can use sweetened condensed milk for more creamy texture. I used ½ cup of sugar in this recipe which makes the pudding moderately sweet. You can add more or less to your taste.

Coconut Milk Pudding Recipe | Thengai Paal Pudding Recipe
- 5 grams China Grass / Agar Agar
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 cups Thick Coconut Milk
- ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
- Soak china grass in water for 10 mins.
- Take it in a sauce pan and melt it. Add sugar and mix well.
- Now take it off the heat and add in coconut milk and cardamom powder and whisk well.
- Pour it in mould. Leave to set in fridge for few hours.
- Slice and serve.

2)Soak in water for 10 mins
3)Take it in a sauce pan and heat till melted
4)Add in sugar
6)Add coconut milk.
7)Add cardamom powder and Mix well
8)Take a mould.
9)Strain the mix
10)Leave to set in fridge for 2 hours.
11)Slice and serve
