Right now my house is filled with lots of little kids. Everyone is arriving for my wedding, I can see  kids fighting, grown ups sharing gossips,  every one chatting with each other, but my poor mother running here and there.. The true wedding spirit has started. Don’t ask what I am doing, My job is to sit in a place and relax, May be a little browsing and chatting. My mother don’t want me to do anything other than just sit and chill. But nobody knows how my inner heart is raising to its highest level. But I pretend to be very bold and calm girl. Even my mother ask me often ‘Are you feeling scared or something like that’. I would just tell her, “NO WAY WHY SHOULD I!! I AM VERY BOLD GIRL OK”.. I hope that my mother never reads this blog.HE HE…

Ok now coming to the recipe..This one stayed in my bookmarked list for so many months. I was waiting for the mango season to arrive to try so many recipes, And now it is season here and I made pretty much most of the recipe which I have bookmarked. This one cameout so good, but it is ridiculously easy to make. Since my house is filled with lots of little kids right now, I am planning to make this  again to feed them, because they are asking me to make something for them. And I hope my mother will allow me to do it, since this doesn’t involve any cooking.
I hope you will try this and tell me how it turned out.

Ingredients:
Ripe Mango – 2 cups pureed
Ripe Mango- 1/2 cup chopped finely
Gelatin – 1 tblspn / China Grass – 10 gms
Condensed Milk – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 5 tblspn or to taste
Water – 1/2 cup
Oil for Greasing the Bowl
Method:
Take gelatin in a bowl. Add cold water over it and let it soak for 10 mins.
Take water in a pan and bring it to boil. Switch off the flame and add in the soaked gelatin and mix well so that it gets dissolved easily.
Now add in sugar, condensed milk, mango puree and mango cubes and mix well.
Pour this in a greased bowl or ramekins. And put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
Run a kinfe around the sides of the bowl and invert it into a plate.
Serve cold.

Pictorial:

Take all your ingredients
Soak gelatin in cold water
The bigger pieces is to puree..The Smaller piece is for adding into the pudding
take the bigger piece in the blender
and make into a puree
heat water
add gelatin and switch off the flame
mix well till it is melted
now add sugar and mix till it dissolves
add condensed milk and mix well
throw in the mango puree
and the chopped mangoes
mix everything
take your mould..I used my ramekins
Pour in to that
Luckily i have a lid..So cover it
and put in the fridge
DONE..

    @Anu

Thanks for your wishes dear.. Chinagrass & gelatin are the setting agents in this recipe which makes the pudding to set. If you didn't use it you won't get a proper set pudding. I think there is no substitute for this.

Can we substitute Sugar for condensed milk. If so how much sugar should I add for 2 mangoes?

Please stop using Gelatin. Gelatin has collagen extracted from skin, intestine parts of cows, pigs and even horses. People may mistake this for a vegetarian recipe. Thanks

two questions…..1) where to buy gelatin? 2) should I add the sugar, condensed milk and pureed mango when the gelatin dissolved water is still warm or after cooling down the water?
