    Cornmeal Pancakes Recipe

    Pancakes are my favourite. I make them mostly on Sunday, my 2 year little one loves it. But when i make pancakes for myself i love to make different version a try. Recently I made this pancake using cornmeal and it tasted really yummy. The pancake is a little sturdy and it was so good.

    How to Make Cornmeal pancakes Recipe

    • Take all the ingredients in a bowl except lemon juice and melted butter and mix well. Set aside for 10 mins. 
    • Add in butter and vinegar and mix well.
    • Heat some more butter in a pan and heat it. Pour ladleful of batter in and cook till bubbles form on top it will take 1 min or so..
    • Flip over and cook for few more mins.
    • Remove the pancake to a plate, spread some butter on top. Drizzle honey or maple syrup on top and serve.

    Ingredients
      

    • Cornmeal - ½ cup
    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - ½ cup
    • Sugar - 2 tsp
    • Salt - ¼ tsp
    • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
    • Milk - 1 cup or as needed
    • Melted Butter - 1 tsp or as needed
    • Vinegar or Lemon Juice - ½ tsp

      Looks so yummy!! I love pancakes n we don't eat egg at home so could never make them. Now I will surely try your egg less pancakes!
      I have a doubt... Is corn meal same as cornflour?

      @Unknownno no corn meal is diff from corn four, it is a lot more grainer...

      I tried this is came out great, I add a little more flour, it is moist and tasty, thanks, my 10 year old grand daughter did not believe there are no eggs in them, thanks loving my pancakes, I never use cornmeal in my pancake, but surely did today, great recipe , i thought batter would of get thick but it did not
