    Easy Potato Curry Recipe with step by step pictures. This is a homestyle Indian curry made without any cashews or cream. It is so tasty, flavorful and easy to make.

    Easy Potato Curry

    I make potato curry a handred different ways. I never do the same curry twice, i always try to do something new. This is one of the simplest curry you will ever make, i am telling you it is so easy because i always have few boiled potatoes in my fridge. So i can whip up this curry in a matter of minutes.

    Ingredients for Easy Potato Curry

    • Oil or Ghee - 2 tbsp
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    • Potatoes - 4 medium size boiled
    • Tomato - 2 large pureed
    • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
    • Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
    • Coriander Powder . Malli Podi - 1 tbsp
    • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
    • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
    • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
    • Kasuri Methi Leaves - 1.5 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - ½ tsp

    How to Make Easy Potato Curry

    1. Break potatoes roughly. Set aside.
    2. Heat oil or ghee in a kadai. Add in cumin and let it sizzle.
    3. Add in tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell leaves from this.
    4. Add in all spice powders and cook till oil separates.
    5. Now add in water, salt, and sugar. bring it to boil.
    6. Once it boils, add in potatoes and simmer for 2 mins.
    7. Now add in kasuri methi leaves and mix well.
    8. Serve.
