Ugadi Pachadi Recipe

This is one of the main dish which is made on ugadi. I made it yesterday and thought of sharing it immediately. But couldn’t find time to do it..So i am sharing it now..HAPPY UGADI EVERYONE…

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Serves: 4 

Ingredients:

Raw Mango – 1 peeled and chopped very finely
Tamarind – 1 lemon size
Jaggery – 3 to 4 tblspn
Neem flower – 1.5 tblspn
Green Chilli – 2 chopped finely
Salt to taste
Water as needed

Method:

Soak tamarind in water for 10 mins. Squeeze and extract the juice.

Now take that juice in a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well. Taste and adjust the sweetness and salt.

Chill for few hours and serve.

Take tamarind in a bowl
cover with water
squeeze and extract the pulp
take a raw mango
peel off the skin
slice like this
cut into strips
chop very finely
take tamarind pulp in a bowl, add more water as needed
add jaggery
add green chilli
add salt
add in neem flower..you can use fresh or dried
mix well
add mangoes
Mix well. let it sit in fridge for few hours before serving
