Watermelon Fizz ( Without Alcohol ) – Summer Special Recipes

Summer has arrived and watermelons are available in abundance here..I love watermelon a lot, sometimes I am totally amazed how a massive fruit contains 98% of water stored in its fruity flesh..And in addition to this, these fruits arrive just on summer time when we need to have lots of water..God has made each and every thing in this world for a reason..Right!!

Ok now coming to this drink..I actually have a Refreshing Watermelon Juice recipe in my blog, that is a  drink which we find here all over the roadside..I used to have that all day before..But after I came across this recipe it became my latest favorite..I skipped the alcohol part used in this recipe, since I don’t DRINK…But if you are making for a person who need a intense kick in their fizzzzz, you can pour a shot or two of vodka..This recipe calls for melon vodka, but you could use whatever floats your boat.

Try to use the last drop of summer by filling your tummy with all those seasonal fruits and also give this a shot and let me know what you think………..Happy Summer..
Recipe Source: Sandra Lee
Ingrediants:
Watermelon – 4 cups Deseeded & Cubed
Sugar – 4 tblspn or to taste
Lemon Juice – 2 tblspn
Soda Water / Sparkling Water – 1 cup (I used 7 up)
Melon Vodka – 3 shots ( Optional – I never used it)
Mint Leaves for garnishing
Watermelon Wedge – for garnishing
Method:
Add watermelon, sugar, lemon juice in a blender and whiz it up to a puree.
Tranfer that to a jug and pour over some soda water and mix well.
Pour into glasses and garnish with a wedge or watermelon and mint leaves..
Enjoy..
Pictorial:

Take all your ingrediants
you need nice red juicy watermelons..remove the seeds as well
take a blender
add watermelon to it
squeeze some lemon juice
add sugar
and whiz it up
Pour into a pitcher
Hmm..I can have like this..But now this is going to get some fizzzzzzz
Pour over some soda water…I used 7up
a close look of how it fluff up
hmm..Delicious
mix well
Pour into glasses and garnish as per you wish
Enjoy
I can have this all day without worrying about the summer heat
Enjoy Friends..
HAPPY SUMMER

When you say Summer has arrived in January, it melts my heart as it is still winter in my part of the globe. The drink looks refreshing and I can have it in dead snow and winter also.

What a beautiful colour this drink is! It reminds me of Summer, but alas here in England the weather has just got freezing, with maybe even snow on the way… 🙁 I will have to wait many months for a watermelon, but at least God has given us here potatoes and swedes to roast!
