Fresh grape juice is one of the easiest and most refreshing juice you can make during summer. With just a few ingredients like ripe grapes, a touch of sugar, lemon juice and cold water it comes together in minutes and tastes naturally sweet and cooling. It’s perfect for staying hydrated, especially during hot summer days. This juice not only cools down your body but also gives you a quick energy boost. Grapes are one of my favorite fruit apart from pineapples and watermelons. I love the seedless variety, they are sweet and totally yum. It is great for making juices too. I already have a grape juice in this blog, this is a updated version with new pictures.

    About Grape Juice

It’s getting really hot these days, and I don’t feel like eating anything hot or heavy. All I crave right now are fresh and cool drinks like milkshakes, fresh juices and ice creams. I started buying loads of seasonal fruits and making fresh juices almost everyday. One of my current favorites is this fresh grape juice. It’s super easy to make, naturally sweet and perfect for beating the heat.

Grape juice is a quick, simple and refreshing drink. It can be made in less than 10 minutes. Grapes have a natural sweetness and a juicy flavour that is perfect for a cool summer drink. I like to add a splash of lemon juice to balance the sweetness and enhance the taste. Most days, I blend a batch of fresh juice and keep it in the fridge, so I can have my healthy drink instead of store bought canned drinks. The best part about homemade juice is that we can adjust the sweetness. If the grapes are sweet enough, skip the sugar.

This grape juice is something that everyone in the family enjoys having! It satisfies people of all ages and it can be made in jiffy. It’s naturally hydrating, makes you feel refreshed and soothes the body heat during summer. It’s a refreshing and comforting drink that you can enjoy anytime!

    WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS

Quick and easy : This grape juice can be made in less than 10 minutes. Just blend, strain and serve. No cooking or no fancy equipment required. Perfect for busy days or when you want something quick, simple and refreshing.

Natural sweetener : When grapes are ripe and in season, they are naturally sweet on their own. This means this recipe requires less or no sugar. The natural sweetener of the fruit yields a delicious juice.

WHY I LOVE THIS RECIPE  - Grape juice is not a complicated or fancy recipe, it is just a basic, refreshing juice that can be made in a few minutes. This grape juice is a great choice for the whole family. It’s perfect for kids who are looking for a refreshing drink on hot summer days and for elders who prefer something light and easy to enjoy. It helps everyone to stay hydrated during hot days and offers a nice break from the heat. It’s not just a drink and also a delightful way to enjoy the summer and also perfect for parties or special gatherings.

Affordable : Grapes are often available at reasonable prices. And the rest of the ingredients are easily available at the pantry and inexpensive too. So it’s one of the affordable ways to make something refreshing at home during summer.

Nutrition : Grapes are naturally rich in antioxidants and vitamins. It helps to increase the blood count, lower the blood pressure and promotes heart health.

    Ingredients

Seedless grapes : Grapes are the main ingredient. I have used a mix of black and green grapes to achieve a balanced flavour. Black grapes tend to be sweeter, while green grapes add tartness. It results in a sweet and tangy refreshing drink.

Sugar : Sugar is added to enhance the sweetness of the juice, add more if the grapes are slightly sour. For a healthier option, you can use honey, agave, coconut sugar instead of refined sugar.

Lemon juice : Lemon juice adds a fresh, zesty flavour and balances the overall taste. It also provides a refreshing acidity.

Ice cold water : Ice cold water is used to dilute the juice and yields a refreshing drink on hot days. If you want to add a bit of fizz, substitute with sparkling water or soda water for a bubbly grape juice.

Optional : Ice cubes : Ice cubes are optional and it is just for serving purposes. It helps to keep the juice cold and refreshing for a longer time.

    Hacks

Prep work : Wash and clean the grapes well. Remove the stem and if you use seeded grapes, then remove the seeds before pulping.

Blender : Use a blender or a mixer jar for making the juice. Put every ingredient in the jar and grind until it is done. Strain them using a mesh strainer or sieve to remove any impurities or seeds.

    Alternate method

Stove top cooking : Wash and clean the grapes. Remove the stem and seeds. In a large pot, add grapes and water until it is submerged. Cook them in low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. While it is heating up, mash them using potato masher and cook until it is soft. Remove and strain the pulp using a strainer or cheesecloth. This method tends to extract more natural flavour of grapes than blender. Use the strained pulp to make juice.
