Quick Potato Pakora Recipe - Aloo Pakora Recipe

Pakora is everyone's favourite..Specially this one is yummy, it taste great and it so easy to make. I make this often for my little one, when i make for her, 

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Resting Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 2 to 3 min per batch
Serves: 4


Gram Flour / Besan / Kadalai Mavu / Chickpea Flour - 1 cup
Corn Flour / Cornstarch - 1 tblspn
Onion - 2 large sliced thinly
Potato - 1 large peeled and cubed
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Chat Masala Powder - 1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Water - 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup


Take all ingredients in a bowl except oil and mix well. Add water slowly and make a thick batter. Keep the batter aside for 15 mins.

Heat oil for deep frying.

Now use a spoon to drop small amount of batter in hot oil. Fry till golden and crispy.

Drain and serve.

Take all your ingredients...You need some cornflour as well

Take onions and potatoes in a bowl

add in the spices, salt and baking soda

mix well

add in gram flour

add in cornflour

add little water

Make it into a thick mixture

Set aside for 15 mins..the batter will get a little loose, 
since onions will leach out some water

now drop small spoonful of batter in oil

fry till crispy and golden

fry them well

Drain it
