Chicken Burger Recipe - Chicken Patty Burger Recipe



I crave for burger very often, each time i make them differently and this is my latest addition. It has crispy chicken patties in them and taste really moist and juicy.

Preparation Time : 20 mins
Cooking Time: 1 to 2 min
Serves: 2 to 3

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken Breast - 2 large
Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
Oregano - 1 tsp
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Cheese - 1/2 cup grated
Coriander Leaves - 3 tblspn finely chopped
Oil - 1 tblspn + for deep frying
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

For Coating:
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1/2 cup 
Cornflour - 5 tblspn
Bread Crumbs - 2 cup or as needed
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

For Assembling:
Burger Buns
Tomatoes sliced
Lettuce shredded
Cheese slices
Mayonnaise
Tomato Ketchup

Method:

Take chicken and cut into cubes. Take it in a blender and pulse few times so it is minced. Now take this in a bowl. Add all the ingredients and give a good mix. Now you can use round shape and shape the burger patty or just use your hands. 

Now arrange the breading and dunking station. In a plate mix all purpose flour with little salt and pepper. In a bowl mix cornflour with salt and pepper and water and make it into a thin paste. Now in another plate mix breadcrumbs with some salt and pepper and set aside.

Now take the patty, coat in all purpose flour, then dip in cornflour mix and coat in bread crumbs.Now dip again in the cornflour mix and coat with breadcrumbs. Set aside in a plate and chill this for 30 mins.

Now heat oil for deep frying, drop patties in hot oil and fry till golden. Drain it and set aside.

Now take your burger buns and toast them either in a pan or oven. Now spread some mayo on one side and ketchup on other side. Place lettuce on the bottom, tomatoes and the fried patties them top with cheese and cover with other bun and serve.

Serve with ketchup.

mix well
take a ring mould like this


spoon some filling in


flatten it





remove the mould and set aside
now for coating this, take all purpose flour


season with salt


add in pepper..set aside


for dunking, take cornflour


season with salt and pepper


mix well


take breadcrumbs


season with salt and pepper


mix well and set aside
now take the patty


coat with flour first




then dip in cornflour mix




now dip in breadcrumbs


coat well


no dip again in cornflour mix




coat with breadcrumbs again




done


now put this in fridge for few mins


take your other ingredients


i fried up some french fries


toast your buns


fry chicken patties


fry till golden and set aside




place your toasted buns


spread with ketchup on one side and mayo on other side


place some lettuce


now place tomatoes


place your fried patty and cheese


cover with other bun


serve

  3. Hi Arthur tried this today but the minced chicken was sticky and I could not mound it properly

    1. if it is sticky add little breadcrumbs and chill it for 30 mins.

    When should I chill the minced chicken is that before
