Best Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe Ever - Moist Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe



As i promised i am delivering you the basic chocolate cupcakes using eggs recipe. This is one of the best, moist and soft chocolate cupcakes you ever taste. It has a real chocolate flavour and so moist. I made this for my sister to take it to her college mates. And i heard that they loved it..


I wanted to make this cupcakes special so i made vanilla and chocolate buttercream and piped it as swirled pattern and it really looked pretty. Perfect for any special event..

Preparation Time : 15 mins

Baking Time : 20 mins
Makes : 11 to 12 cupcakes

Ingredients:


All Purpose Flour / Maida - 3/4 cup / 90 grams

Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup / 50 grams
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder - 3/4 tsp
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 1 cup / 200 grams
Oil - 1/3 cup / 80 ml
Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
Buttermilk - 1/2 cup (see below)
Vanilla Buttercream - 1/4 batch (recipe here)
Chocolate Buttercream - 1/2 batch (recipe here)

*My 1 cup measures 240 ml

*If you dont have buttermilk, take 1/2 cup of milk and add 1.5 tsp of vinegar or lemon juice to it and mix well. Let this sit for 5 to 10 mins. Now use this.

Method:


Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line 12 cup muffin tray with cupcake cases and set aside.


Take flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder in a sifter and sieve well.


Take oil, sugar, vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Add in eggs and give a good mix.


Add in buttermilk and whisk well.


Now add in the sifted flour mix and fold gently..


Use a icecream scoop to scoop the batter and fill the cupcake cases.


Bake for 18 to 20 mins untill a toothpick inserted comes clean.


Take the tray from oven and let it cool completely.


Meanwhile make a batch of vanilla and chocolate buttercream. 


When the cupcakes are cooled, pipe the cream over the cupcakes and top with sprinkles.


Serve.

Take all your ingredients


I got these beautiful brown cupcake wrappers


line the muffin tray with the cases


Now take flour in a sieve


add cocoa powder


add in baking soda


add in baking powder


sieve it


take oil in a bowl


add in sugar


add in vanilla


whisk it little


add in eggs and whisk it up





now add in buttermilk, if you dont have buttermilk, 
take milk in a bowl and add 1.5 tsp of lemon juice or vinegar
in it..Let it sit for 10 min, now buttermilk is done
whisk it up


add the dry ingredients in


mix gently


scrape the bowl using a spatula


now use a icecream scoop to take the batter


and fill the cupcake cases


now bake them..Let them cool completely


while the cupcakes are cooling, i made a batch of vanilla and chocolate buttercream


take a disposable piping bag and place a nozzle in


place the bag onto a cup


and dollop the cream in


this will create a lovely swirl pattern


take the cooled cupcakes in a plate


pipe the icing


go on and pipe around the cupcake


just like this

now the cupcakes are piped..


Top with some sprinkles and serve





the cool thing is, each cupcake will have a different pattern


the cupcakes were so moist..

  3. Aarthi,your recipes are excellent.These cupcakes look so tempting n beautiful !! Can you please tell from where you got this shape of star nozzle because I couldn't find it.They are usually more open so the rossetts are not so sharp.

  13. Sis the cupcake liners u have used is it medium or large cupcake liner and if we don't have icecream scoop then how many spoons of batter should we add into each cupcake liner sis pls help me.
