This kozhukattai is one of our family favourite, we make it often for breakfast or for evening snacks. It is simple to make but taste so delicious..I thought of sharing it for quite a long time, finally made it few days back and took pictures of it as well.Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Serves : 2

Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu -1 tsp
Mustard seeds / Kaduku-1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
Curry leaves -1 spring
Coriander leaves - a small handful
Water - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:

Take wheat flour in a dry pan and roast it for 10 mins till you get nice aroma..Allow this to cool a bit..

Now heat oil in a kadai and add mustard and urad dal, curry leaves.

Add onion, carrot, beans in this and sauté for 3 mins. Pour water and add salt to this.

Bring this to boil and add in wheat flour slowly while stiring constantly.

When everything is mixed well.

Now allow this mixture to cool down and form small balls out of it.

Put those dumplings in a oiled steamer basket ( I used my idli stand) and steam it for 5 to 7 mins.

Remove and serve it with chutney or as it is..
