I am seriously addicted to mug cakes, I have been making different variations of it very often. I have already posted nutella mug cake, mocha mug cake, check out my other microwave cake recipes soon. My favourite microwave cake recipes are oreo cake, chocolate cake, vanilla cake and lets not forget my amazing black forest cake..

This is my latest addiction, i have made it many times so far..There is something with the dark chocolaty fudgy cake with the caramel chocolate pieces dotted all over it..So gooey and so yummy..This cake is so easy to make but taste so yummy. When i was posting my microwave cake recipes, may viewers were asking me to post cake with eggs. So i decided to make this cake with egg and i added a egg in it. But you can simply leave it out and make it eggless too..
I hope you will try this out and let me know how it turned out for you..And do you love my super sized coffee mug, hubby bought this from russia, he also got me two more colours of this. I love it so much..
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 1.30 mins to 2 mins
Serves : 1 or 2

Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 4 tblspn
Sugar – 4 tblspn
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder – 3 tblspn
Baking Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Egg – 1
Vanilla Essence – 1/4 tsp
Vegetable Oil – 1 tblspn
Milk – 3 tblspn
Salted Caramel – 3 pieces (i used cadburys silk caramello)
Method:
Take flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt in a bowl. Make a well in the center.
Add in egg, oil, milk and vanilla essence. Mix to a smooth batter.
Add in chocolate pieces and fold well.
Pour this into a greased mug and microwave it for 1 mins. Actually i microwaved it for 1.30 mins, so keep a eye on it.
Once it is done, remove it and serve with a scoop of icecream.

HERE IS A QUICK VIDEO:

Pictorial:
Take your ingredients..I measured all the stuffs

You can mix the batter in the mug, but i used a bowl, so you can see clearly..

Add in sugar

add some salt

and some baking powder

mix well

make a well in the center

crackl open a egg

add in milk

Grease it lightly

    Hi Aarthi,

I visited your blog day before yesterday and made potato smileys that day. Yesterday, I tried chilli paneer and today I am gonna make this cake for sure! Both the recipes tried earlier turned out amazing and I am sure this one will be no exception. Your pics do all the magic combined with the easy and simple methodology. Kudos to you for all the hard work you put in 🙂

    FYI
This recipe has been copied at this link – http://hebbarskitchen.com/chocolate-mug-cake-2-minute-eggless-chocolate-mug-cake-recipe/

In fact many lines are also copied word by word
e.g. chocolate mug cake is my latest addiction.
Or this line – there is something with the dark chocolaty fudgy cake with the chocolate pieces dotted all over it. this cake is so easy to make but taste so yummy
