Ever since i made this chocolate cherry cake in microwave, i became a complete addict for these types of cake..I started experimenting more about these cake..I think these cakes are so amazing, because they can beat any types of chocolate cake by their cooking time. They can served as a instant desert even for parties..I am planning to do a complete series for these mug cake soon in my blog starting from vanilla mug cake, chocolate mug cake to peanut butter mug cake…What do you think guys?

Yesterday i went for a quick shopping..I found this coffee mug there, it came with a spoon as well, which adds a little bit of edge to it. I picked one for myself. I also picked the few cloths to add more colour to the food pictures which i take..

What do you think about this cloth and mug?

As you all know, i am crazy chocolates, specially nutella..If you ask me what is the last thing which i want to eat in this world..I would tell you it is NUTELLA.

I want to praise the man who invented nutella for the rest of my life, i want to put flowers where ever he walk, just kidding at the last part..

But seriously nutella is addictive, hence the cake made with this is addictive too..

This cake is so soft, moist, chocolaty, rich, fudgy, gooey and it goes like this…

Try it and you will know why i am talking liked a mad..

Nice table cloth! I like really the polka dots.

The mug cake series might be great for people who have a microwave – it really is a time-saver, perfect for a quick snack. Alas, I do not have a microwave, so I wouldn't be able to make them 🙁

    1. Can I add eggs to this recipe? If so, at what step?
    2. Can I use melted chocolate instead of cocoa? It's easier for me to find dark chocolate slabs than cocoa.
    3. Can I mix wheat flour and maida instead of using only maida?
    4. Can I use nuts/fruits as topping rather than nutella?

I'm eating it right now. And it came out perfect. I added just 1tbsp of brown sugar, and batter tasted much better. Also I didnt have nutella or chocolate chips, so i substituted them for Hershe's spread and mini m&m's. And since batter was sweeter, i used veery little Hersheys

Arthi your food blog is just great. Tried pineapple upside down and a few more recipes too. They turned out very well. I have 2 questions. The basic rule in baking is powder us sugar and split ur eggs into yolk and whites and beat them separately..but you don't seem to follow these as shown in your pictures.is it OK to use sugar as it is and eggs beaten together?
My next question is I have a lot of brown sugar in my hand..bought for the pineapple upside down recipe. Do u have any other recipe using this brown sugar? Thank you

@solaii dont normal powder my sugar. but if you want u can use that as well..it results in more even creaming. And beating eggs yolk and white separately is not needed for all cakes. And you can use brown sugar in my muffin recipes
