    Gooseberry Juice

    Gooseberries are like a  healthiest stuff which most of them stay away from. But it has millions of health benefit packed in them. You should have a portion of this in your diet everyday in some form. I have quite a few recipe for this fruit here in my blog, you can check it here.

    This juice recipe is one of my latest addiction. I make it in bulk and store the essence in fridge. So i can dilute it with water and have it whenever i need. I hope you will love this as much as i do and let me know if you try it someday.

    Ingredients for Gooseberry Juice

    • Gooseberry / Amla / Nellikai - 7
    • Green Chilli - 1 small
    • Curry leaves - a small handful
    • Ginger - 1 inch piece
    • Sugar - 3 tbsp or to taste
    • Salt to taste
    • Cumin powder / Jeera podi - ½ tsp
    • Cold Water as needed

    How to Make Gooseberry Juice

    1. Deseed and chop gooseberry.
    2. Take all ingredients in a blender except water and make into fine puree.
    3. Strain them in a fine sieve.
    4. Add in cold water as per taste and mix well.
    5. Serve cold.

    Ingredients
      

    • 7 Gooseberry / Amla / Nellikai
    • 1 small Green Chilli
    • Curry leaves - a small handful
    • 1 inch piece Ginger
    • 3 tbsp or to taste Sugar
    • Salt to taste
    • ½ tsp Cumin powder / Jeera podi
    • Cold Water as needed

    Instructions
     

    • Deseed and chop gooseberry.

    • Serve cold.

    Notes

    You can store this essence in the fridge in a air tight bottle for upto a week or you can freeze them into individual cubes in a icecube tray and store them in a ziploc bag for upto 3 months.
