    Ingredients for Gooseberry Juice

Gooseberry / Amla / Nellikai - Choose firm fresh gooseberry for making this juice. Medium to large gooseberry is preferred in this juice, since it is less bitter.

Green Chilli - even though this is optional, it adds a kick to the juice. But you can skip this if you prefer.

Curry leaves - sneak in lots of curry leaves when grinding this juice. Not only it add iron content to the juice, but make amla juice green.

Ginger - ginger helps with digestion as well as flavour the juice.

Sugar - honey can be used instead of sugar. Sometime I make the juice entirely with salt and skip the sugar. You can refer the video for that version.

Salt - a pinch of salt enhance the sweetness of the juice.

Cumin powder - roasted cumin powder adds a earthy flavour to the juice.

Lemon - You can add or skip lemon juice. But lemon enhance the taste.
