Fried rice in my opinion is a perfect way to include veggies in your kids diet plus they will love it. Specially this restaurant style one is just perfect. I have few more fried rice veg and fried rice non veg recipe in this blog, make sure you check those out too..I am on a mission to share the varieties of restaurant style fried rice recipes for you..My first recipe was a restaurant style egg fried rice, will soon share restaurant style chicken fried rice. I served this with a chinese egg gravy, which can be made in under 15 mins
P.S. This is not a paid post, i love that rice so i am sharing it here.
Take all your ingredients |
Start by cooking rice, take rice and water in a pressure cooker |
Add some salt to it |
Pressure cook |
Just cook for 1 whistle |
Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool completely |
Heat oil in a kadai |
Add in ginger and garlic |
Add in onions and green chillies |
Saute for 2 mins |
Add in some salt and sugar |
saute for 2 more mins |
Add in chopped beans and carrots |
Now saute the veggies on high heat for 5 mins |
you have to cook them in high heat till the veggies are cooked but still firm |
add in capsicum, i used all three colours |
Saute them on very high heat for just 2 mins |
Add in some soy sauce, this depends on your taste |
i added some freshly ground pepper powder for a spicy kick |
toss well |
now add in cooked cooled rice |
stir fry it for 5 mins |
Tada.. |
