Stuffed parathas are a life saver if you don’t have any time to cook any sidedish for roti..You can pretty much stuff it with any thing from vegetables to chicken..I have lots of stuffed paratha recipes in my blog you can check it in my recipe index or the quick menu in my side bar..

This paraths is stuffed with a spicy paneer mixture, and it is my total favorite..you could add sny spices of your choice, even a touch of chat masala will be good in this..This paratha can be put in lunch box as well..Usually stuffed parathas stays soft for a longer time than anything..

I served this with a simple tomato and onion gravy..It is so easy too make, infact i am planning to post it soon..If you are so eager to know it now..It is just sauted onions and tomatoes with some chilli powder and salt..How easy is that..So here you go to the recipe..

Hope you like it and let me know what you think..

    Ingredients:

    For Dough:
    Wheat Flour / Atta – 300 gms
    Salt – 1tsp
    Water as needed
    Oil- 1 tsp

    For Stuffing:
Paneer / Cottage Cheese – 1 cup crumbled
Green Chilli – 1 chopped finely
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam -1 tsp
    Chilli Powder – 1tsp
    Coriander Powder -1 tsp
    Garam masala powder -1 tsp
    Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
    Salt to taste
    Oil-1 tsp
Coriander leaves / Cilantro for garnishing

    Method:

Start by making the filling…Heat oil and add cumin in it..

Now add in crumbled paneer and mix well..Add green chilli in this..

Throw in turmeric, chilli, coriander and garam masala powder and mix well.

Season with salt and throw in lots of coriander leaves and mix well. Remove it to a bowl and allow it to cool down completely. Please make sure that the filling is completely dry..If it is wet we cannot stuff it inside parathas.

Now make the dough.Take flour, salt in a mixing bowl.

Add in water slowly and form into a little soft dough. Apple some oil and knead it to form a smooth dough.Let it rest for 15 mins.

Now divide into equal portions and start making parathas..

Take one dough and spread it slightly. Spoon some filling in and seal from all sides.

Now roll carefully to make into a paratha..

Heat a tawa and cook this paratha on both sides by applying some oil.

Remove to a insulated container and serve with any side dish of your choice..
