    Wheat Kulcha Recipe with step by step pictures. Soft wheat kulcha bread recipe is made with Wheat Flour,Curd and Milk. Perfect recipe to serve with any curries.

     

    Wheat Kulcha Recipe

    I make chapati more often, i would say daily. But sometimes i feel like having something different. What i go for during that time is kulcha. I make it with wheat flour to make it really healthy. I made wheat kulcha and flavoured it with nigella seeds and coriander leaves.

    Ingredients for Wheat Kulcha Recipe

    • Whole Wheat Flour / Atta - 2 cup
    • Baking Power - ½ tsp
    • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - ¼ tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar - 1 tbsp
    • Curd / Yogurt - 3 tbsp
    • Milk - ½ cup
    • Olive Oil / Ghee / Butter - 2 tbsp
    • Water as needed
    • Nigella Seeds / Kalonji as needed
    • Coriander leaves as needed
    • Ghee or Butter for spreading over kulcha

    How to make Wheat Kulcha Recipe

    1. Take wheat flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and mix well.
    2. Add in curd, milk, oil, water and knead to a soft dough.
    3. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
    4. Take small portion from dough, sprinkle some kalonji and coriander leaves and roll it thinly.
    5. Place it over hot tawa and cook both sides till cooked, spread some butter or ghee over top.
    6. Serve with any curry.

    Ingredients

    Wheat Kulcha Recipe step by step picture 

     
    Take all your ingredients
    Take wheat flour in a bowl
    Add in salt and sugar
    Add in baking soda and baking powder
    mix well
    Add in curd
    add in some milk
    and some olive oil
    pour in water
    knead it to a dough
    cover and let it rest for 1 hour
    now it is rested..
    Take small ball in a board
    press it slightly
    sprinkle some nigella seeds / kalonji
    add some chopped coriander leaves
    roll it out
    Roll it little thick than chapati
    Heat a tawa
    Place kulcha seed side down the tawa
    let it cook for few sec
    when you see bubbles on top
    flip over and cook
    drizzle some ghee or butter
    serve
