Mini Chocolate Valentine Day Cake Recipe – Eggless Recipe

If you want to make anything special for this valentine then this is the answer. It is not only easy to make but taste just special and yummy. I am sure your valentine will be very excited if you serve this for desert..

The cake is extremely moist and very chocolaty. Perfect mini bites for valentines day or for any parties..I topped it with strawberries, but you can top it with any berries or nuts or candies..

Preparation Time : 20 mins
Baking Time : 30 to 35 mins
Serves: 6

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cocoa Powder – 1/3 cup
Baking Powder- 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda – 1 tsp
Salt – a pinch
Milk – 1/2 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Oil – 1/2 cup


For Topping:
Dark Chocolate –  1.5 cup chopped
Cream – 2 tblspn
Strawberries for topping


(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)


Method:

Preheat oven to 170 degree C. Line a square pan with parchment paper and grease it well with oil. Set aside.

Take flour, baking soda, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a sieve and sift it well.

Add in sugar and mix well.

Now make a well in the center, add in milk, water, oil and mix well.

Spoon this into the pan and bake for 30 to 35 mins.

Now remove it and cool it completely.

Now unmould it and chill the cake for 2 hours.

Now cut it as desired shape and set aside.

Now make the icing, take chocolate in a bowl and melt it gently using a double boiler till it is melted. Add in cream and mix well.

Now take the cake and spoon some icing over and top with strawberries.

Chill for few mins and serve.

Take all your ingredients
in a bowl, take flour
add in baking powder
add in baking soda and salt
add in cocoa powder
sieve well
add in sugar
mix well
make a well in the center
add in milk
add in oil
add in water
mix well
now use a spatula to give a good mix..
pour it into the baking pan, i lined it with parchment and oiled it well
bake till done
can you see how moist the cake is..now chill this cake for couple of hours
now use a cutter to cut out hearts
i cut some into squares
now lets make the icing..take chocolate
Add it in a heat proof bowl
place it over a double boiler
melt it gently
now it is melted
smooth and yummy
add little cream in
mix well
spoon this over the cake
top with strawberries
Chill for few mins and serve

    Hi Aarthi I’m your subscriber.. Fond of all your recipes.. Please share vanilla cake or any other cake recipe which has no chocolate flavor.. I love chocolate flavor but my hubby loves only vanilla.. I could find most of your recipes are of chocolate flavor. Please share more choc- less cakes.
