    Strawberry Oats Milkshake

I love strawberries. But the place I live don’t stock this awesome berry always. Luckily now it is available all over here, every fruit shop is filled with this. Last week I grabbed couple of packet of this berries and made a batch of strawberry ice cream which I will post soon. I had some leftover of that luscious berry, so I made this yummy healthy milk shake with that, it came out so good.

    About this Recipe

A milkshake is a cold, sweet drink made by combining milk, ice cream, and flavourings or sweeteners such as butterscotch, caramel sauce, chocolate syrup, fruit syrup, or whole fruit into a thick, sweet mixture. It can also be made with a base made from nondairy products, such as almond milk, coconut milk, or soy milk. Strawberry
milkshakes are one of the most traditional and nutrient-dense beverages of all time. We can't deny that it's been a favourite of all of us. Strawberry is best consumed in the form of milkshakes and juices because it contains Vitamin C and is high in potassium and magnesium.

Even though I love strawberry, I don’t like it eating as it is..I will sprinkle some sugar over chopped strawberries and eat it and most of the time it will be transformed to this shake or some smoothies. Even had topped thick set curd with this strawberries and had it one day..I should tell you it was divine.

Ingredients for Strawberry Oats Milkshake :

    Strawberries :
Strawberries in season and at their peak ripeness are fruity, sweet, and juicy, with a hint of acidity. When you bite into one of these plump and juicy red berries, you'll get a sweet burst in your mouth. or fragrance Frozen strawberries have an added crunch that, for some reason, enhances their flavour.

    Oats :
Oatmeal has a high fibre content and makes smoothies satisfyingly thick and filling. This oatmeal smoothie will keep you full all morning, thanks in large part to the oatmeal.

This is a great breakfast smoothie too. Addition of oats make it even more tasty and healthy..This drink is best had cold. I added a dash of vanilla to give a little flavour to this, you can easily skip that step..You can try this with pomegranate, apples and any fruit of your choice.

beautiful..i love strawberry milk shake or icecreams.. oats havent tried

when i had gone holiday in mahableshwar years back we had the yummiest milkshake there.

later years whenever i craved for strawberries we went to one resto to have this and i learnt a trick

just use strawberry icecream and blend it with milk and its ready hehe

i do get strawberries here but i was not sure if they are not sour.. so had to be careful
