Eggless Tutti Fruity Cake – No Eggs/No Butter

Its Monday the very first day of the week. I was pretty much excited today, since day light savings has started I can reach home one hour before for the coming month..I always find fresher and energetic during the morning than I do during the day fall..I don’t know why.Ok skip that, now coming onto business, lets start this week with a awesome cake.

For those folks out there who are searching for a eggless cake recipe..Here we are with the most fabulous recipe which needs no eggs, no butter..Isn’t that cool..But don’t underestimate the cake, it cameout so good..I kept my finger crossed when I put this cake tin in oven, because I have no clue how it will turn out, since there is no butter as well as eggs..But once the cake cameout of the oven it looked so good..Once I sliced this cake it smelled so heavenly and the taste was awesome..But I was a little worried when I touched the cake once it got cooled, because it looked a little hard..But the next day when I checked it it turned unbelievably soft and tasted way better..So if you are making this cake for any occasion I will advice you to try it the day before..

I hope you will love this cake for sure and try it out ASAP..

Ingrediants:

All Purpose Flour / Maida –  150 gms / 1 1/3 cup ( plus 1 tblspn for dusting over tutti fruity)

Now add in condensed milk, milk and mix well.

Now sift in the sifted flour again and mix well.. Add in tutti fruity and mix well.

Hi aarthi..I m new to baking..wanna clarify sum doubts. I use rice bran oil at hme..can I use it for preparing cake..if not which oil can be used..i have LG ovencan cookies be baked n convection mode..or we need to use ant combination cooking like grill nd convection..I bought a nonstick muffin tray..can u use ur by simply applying oil or need to use papers n it..ur reply vll b very helpful..loving ur recipies..keep going..

Aarthi said...

@AnonymousYes u can use rice bran oil for baking. Baking has to be done only on convection mode and not on any other mode. Non stick muffin tray dont need any paper. You can grease it well will butter or oil and use.

Wonderful :) But, Can i skip condensed milk and instead add more of milk alone? If yes, how much more milk should i add?

Anonymous said...

Aarthi said...

@Sandhya GengadharanNo condensed milk is a must, because it hold the cake together since there is no eggs in this recipe

Anonymous said...

how to do this in microwave mode.. Please reply. .

Aarthi said...

@AnonymousThis has to be done in OTG or convection mode

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Hey I tried this tutti frutti cake recipe and it turned out so well. Thanks for such an easy recipe for such a delicious cake.

Anonymous said...

what is the reason behind 'dusting the tutti fruti with maida'?

Anonymous said...

Aarthi have u used Amul Mithai mate? It is more sweeter & cheaper than Nestle Milkmaid.

Aarthi said...

@Anonymousyes i have used.

Aarthi said...

@Anonymousdusting tutti fruity with flour, prevents it from sinking to the bottom and distribute it evenly all over the cake

Anonymous said...

Thanks Aarthi for spending your precious time reading the comments of the persons who have just started baking & cooking like me & responding to the queries as soon as possible.....really love your helping mentality......

I have dusted maida on tutti frutti.....but tutti frutti sinked to the bottom of my cake. Can u tell why this happened?

Aarthi said...

@AnonymousIf your batter is too thin then it will sink to the bottom.

Raina Bhagatwala said...

Aarthi said...

@Raina Bhagatwalau can leave it out, or add any dry fruits or nuts
