This is one of my favourite dip, it has a beautiful sesame flavour from the tahini. It is creamy, sweet, garlicky, tangy all in one. Perfect to dip falafels, it makes a great sauce for any sandwiches or shawarma as well..Can be had as a dipping sauce for grilled chicken as well..

Homemade Tahini Paste
Baharat Recipe
Draning Time : 1 hour
Makes : 1 cup of sauce
Ingredients:
Yogurt / Curd – 1 cup
Tahini Paste – 2 tblspn ( Recipe here)
Garlic – 1 big clove grated
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Method:
Take yogurt in a strainer and let it strain for 1 hour till it gets thick.
Take curd, tahini, salt, garlic and lemon juice in a bowl and mix really well.
Keep this in fridge for 1 hour.
Serve with falafel or any lebanese foods..

the extra water will come out and what you get is a thick hung curd |

add in finely grated garlic |
add in tahini ( I used homemade, recipe here) |
just pour it in |
add little lemon juice |
and some salt |
mix mix mix |
let it chill for few hours |
Serve |
Enjoy with crispy falafels.. |
