Secret kiss cookies

A pretty and delicious cookies made with a buttery pastry.The pastry is a fool proof recipe and gives you the buttery and melt in mouth cookies..I used kisses inside this cookies. You can use any candy in it. You can use some chopped chocolate bar as well, or just chop some nuts and place it inside along with a spoon of nutella. The options are pretty much endless.

Secret Kiss Cookies Preparation

• Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and whisk well. Add in egg and whisk well.
• In goes salt, baking powder and mix well.
• Add in flour and mix well to form a dough. Now chill for 1 hour or so.
• Preheat oven to 190 degree C.  
• Now take a small portion and roll it out into a ball.
• Flatten it and place a kisses in it. now bring the edges together and roll it smooth.Place this in a baking pan. Bake this for 12 to 14 mins.
• Remove it and immediately roll it in powdered sugar. Now cool it completely in wire rack.
• Serve.

• ▢ All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 cups / 240 grams
• ▢ Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
• ▢ Soft Unsalted Butter - 140 grams
• ▢ Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
• ▢ Egg - 1
• ▢ Baking Powder - ½ tsp
• ▢ Salt - ¼ tsp
• ▢ Hershey's Kisses as needed unwrapped
• ▢ Icing Sugar / Confectioners Sugar as needed for rolling
