Ulli Kaaram Recipe - Ulli Kaaram Dosa Recipe
Ingredients
- Dosa Batter as needed
- Oil - 1 tblsp + 1 tblsp
- Dry Red Chilli - 4 to 5
- Garlic - 4 to 5
- Onion - 1 large chopped
- Salt to taste
- Tamarind a small piece
- Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - a sprig
- Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi - a pinch
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan, add in dry red chilli and garlic and roast them.
- Add in onions and salt and cook for 2 mins. Add tamarind and mix well.
- Take the mix in a blender and puree coarse.
- Take it in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, curry leaves and asafoetida. Pour it into the chutney and mix well.
- Serve.
- For making dosa, spread dosa batter and drizzle oil around the sides. Spread chutney all over it and cook till golden.
- Serve.
