Ven Pongal Recipe / Ghee Pongal Recipe / Pongal Recipe

Ven Pongal..Pongal, Sambar, Coconut Chutney & Medu Vadai..My favorite breakfast combo ever..I make this quite often atleast twice a month or thrice a month. This is my hubby's favorite combo too. If you plan to make pongal, it has to be served with coconut chutney and sambar. If you have time then please make some crispy medu vada too.

Pongal is a typical SouthIndian dish that is usually served with sambar or chutney...Apart from idli and dosa, this one holds it unique place in all home....

Pongal is served in the morning as breakfast..It is a protein rich one pot meal which is really nutritious...I hope you all like it...Let me know what you think..

Cooking Time : 30 to 35 mins
Serves : 4 to 5
