Baked camembert
One day, I picked up a packet of Camembert cheese for the first time and decided to bake it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of placing it on a large baking tray, and the cheese completely melted away, leaving behind only burnt bits. It was such a disappointing experience!

But I gave it another try, this time baking it the right way, and I was instantly blown away by how delicious it was. Since then, baked Camembert has become a staple in our home and one of those little indulgences we keep coming back to.
What is Camembert?
Camembert is a rich, creamy, soft cows milk cheese from Normandy region of France. It has an edible white rind and a soft interior. Camembert is usually sold in individual portions often in a small wooden box. You can enjoy it on its own at room temperature, in a cheeseboard. But for best taste, bake them and enjoy with toast.
About Baked Camembert
There is no much better way to enjoy this soft cows milk cheese than baking it. Specially when topped with garlic, rosemary, honey and sea salt. This combination of flavour is just perfect and taste so delicious specially with crusty toasted bread.
Traditionally camembert cheese comes in a wooden box which is used for baking. If your cheese doesn't comes in a wooden box, you have to transfer it to a snug fitting ramekin to bake.
You can use alternate herb like thyme which goes perfect with this cheese. Make sure to drizzle honey because the combination of the sweet honey, garlic, rosemary and creamy cheese is perfect.
