    Maida Poori

    I have already shared a poori recipe in my blog, this is another version of it in which i added some maida to it. I added some wheat flour to it as well, so it can be rolled easily. Also this pooris are so soft and taste yummy.

    Ingredients to Make Maida Poori

    • 1 cup Maida / All Purpose Flour
    • 1 cup Wheat Flour
    • to taste Salt
    • 1 tbsp Oil
    • Water as needed
    • Oil for deep frying

    How to Make Maida Poori

    1. Take both flour, salt and oil in a bowl, mix well so the oil is well mixed in with the flour.
    2. Add water slowly and knead it to a stiff smooth dough.
    3. Set this aside for 15 mins.
    4. Now divide this into equal balls.
    5. Take one ball in a lightly oiled surface, roll it thinly into small round pooris.
    6. Heat oil for deep frying, when it is hot, drop pooris in and press the top with a ladle, it will puff up.
    7. Flip over and cook for few more sec.
    8. Now drain it and serve with bhaji.

      For more quantity - do we need to double up the measurement or what's the ratio between the flour?
