    Chocobar Ice Cream Recipe

I have been dreaming about this for quite a long time. Finally i made it today and sharing it with you immediately because i couldn't wait more.

    About this Recipe

Chocobar is one of my favourite ice cream ever, arun ice cream is my favourite, i order their almond crunch bars whenever i go to the cafe. It taste so creamy and delicious.

That ice cream is the inspiration behind this. I made a simple vanilla popsicles and made a magic shell coating for it. Will share it in a separate post.

    Ingredients for Chocobar

    • Cream - 1 cup ( I used amul 25% fat fresh cream)
    • Full Fat Milk - 2 cup
    • Icing Sugar / Confectioners Sugar- ¾ cup
    • Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
    • Milk Chocolate - 2 cup chopped finely
    • Coconut Oil - 8 tblspn

How to Make Choco-bar Ice Cream at Home

    • Take milk, icing sugar and vanilla in a bowl and mix well so the sugar is melted.

    • Now whip cream till lightly thickened. Add in milk mix and whip well.

    • Pour this into a jug, fill popsicle moulds and insert popsicle stick into it.

    • Freeze overnight.

    • Now run the mould under water and remove it carefully. Arrange it in a foil lined tray and freeze.

    • Now let's make the sauce, the chocolate and oil in a sauce pan, heat on low heat till the chocolate is melted.

    • Let this cool down, pour this into a cup.

    • Now take the popsicle and dip it into the sauce just one time. Remove it immediately, it will get frozen at an instant.

    • Serve immediately.

    Tips & Tricks

1)You have to dip the popsicle into the sauce just once, one dip is all it need. If you over dip it, then the whole sauce will harden.

2)You can pour the sauce into the popsicle in a pattern too. It will harden as soon you pour the sauce over cold ice cream.

3)The sauce can be store in an air tight container for more than a month in room temp, don't keep it in fridge, it will get hard.

@Madhuyes u can use powdered sugar, but you have to boil the milk with a tsp of cornflour in it, so it thickens. You can use butter instead of oil

Coconut oil is what helps in achieving the texture of the chocolate.

      Hi Arthi,
My daughter is allergic to cows milk. Can you post an alternate recipe for vegan chocolate bar ice cream with soy milk or almond milk?

      Thanks
