    I am fan of friends TV show. If you are like me, then you could never forget the episode in which monica makes several attempts to make the best chocolate chip cookies from phoebe buffay's grandma and later finds out that the cookies is from nestle toll house. After watching that show I was so inspired to try out the cookie recipe from nestle. So this is my attempt.

    Nestle Toll house chocolate chips cookies recipe. The real stuff. Best ever chocolate chips cookies. Chewy chocolate chip cookies. Soft chocolate cookies. Best Chocolate chip cookies.

    I adapted the recipe from their youtube channel and i should tell you, this recipe is one of the best. The cookies spread beautifully and they looked perfection. If you are a chocolate chip cookie lover you will love this for sure.

    I have shared many chocolate chip cookies recipe on my website over the past few years.I really have a serious addiction to chocolate chip cookies. I have made several version and each one has their own unique taste and likeness. This one is so far the best cookie i have ever made.

    Over these many years of baking, i can give you few points for you to get the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe.

    1)Don't skip any ingredients always use the proper measure.

    2)Use all ingredients in room temperature.

    3)Don't over mix the batter

    4)Use best quality chocolate chips which melts beautifully.

    5)Don't over bake the cookies, the cookies will look soft when they are taken from the oven, but as they cool they will harden.

    Ingredients
      

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ⅛ cup 135 grams
    • Sugar - ⅓ cup 65 grams
    • Brown Sugar - ⅓ cup 65 grams
    • Egg - 1
    • Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
    • Baking Soda - ½ tsp
    • Salt - ½ tsp
    • Unsalted Butter - ½ cup 100 grams
    • Dark Chocolate Chips - 1 cup

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 190 degree c.
    • Take butter in a bowl and mix till creamy.
    • Add in both sugars and beat till creamy.
    • Add in eggs and vanilla and mix well.
    • Add in baking soda, salt and mix well.
    • Now add in flour and mix well.
    • Add chocolate chips and mix well.
    • Use a icecream scoop and scoop batter on to a cookie sheet.
    • Now pop this into the preheated oven. I baked this in the lower rack of the oven for around 9 to 11 mins.
    • Remove and top with more chocolate chips for presentation.
    • Remove them to a cooling rack and cool down.
    • Serve or store in a cookie jar for 4 to 5 days.

    Here are tips from nestle website:
    PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars.
    SLICE AND BAKE COOKIE VARIATION:
    PREPARE dough as above. Divide in half; wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Shape each half into 15-inch log; wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.* Preheat oven to 375° F. Cut into ½-inch-thick slices; place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
    * May be stored in refrigerator for up to 1 week or in freezer for up to 8 weeks.
