Tutti Fruity Pound Cake Recipe

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 30 to 40 mins
Serves: 6


Ingredients:

Unsalted Butter – 175 grams ( 3/4 cup )
Sugar – 175 grams (3/4 cup + 1/8 cup)
Vanilla Essence – 2 tsp
Eggs – 3
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 240 grams (2 cups)
Baking Powder – 3 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Milk – 1/4 cup ( 60 ml )
Tutti Fruity – 1 cup


(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)


Method:

Preheat oven to 180 degree C.  Grease a round 18 cm cake pan with oil and dust it with flour and set aside.

Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and whisk till creamy. 

Now add one egg at a time and beat till creamy.

Now add in flour, salt, baking powder and fold gently.

Now add in milk and fold gently.

Finally add in tutti fruity and mix well.

Spoon this into the baking pan and bake for 30 to 40 mins.

Remove it and cool down. Slice and serve.

Take all your ingredients

now it is all whisked well
add one egg at a time and whip till creamy
now it is whisked
i added remaining two eggs at a time
whip till creamy
add flour
add salt
add baking powder
fold gently
add milk
fold gently
add in tutti fruity
fold gently
spoon it into the baking pan
bake till done
Slice and serve

    Can we use oil instead of butter.
