Homemade Chocolates Recipe - Homemade Cocoa Chocolates Recipe



This is a simple and delicious recipe for homemade chocolates. It is made with a base of milk powder and cocoa powder and the taste was just yummy. it is soft, fudgy, chocolaty and just melts in mouth.

Cooking Time : 10 mins
Setting Time : 30 mins
Makes : 15 pieces

Ingredients:

Milk powder - 1 1/4 cup
Sugar - 2/3 cup
Cocoa Power - 5 tblspn
Water - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1/4 cup

Method:

Sift cocoa powder and milk powder. Sieve well.

Take sugar and water in a pan, bring it to a boil. Now cook this till it reaches one string consistency.

Now take it off the heat and add in butter and mix well.

Now add in the sifted mix and give a good stir.

Now spoon this over some parchment paper and spread it evenly.

Now set this for 30 mins. Cut into squares and store it in a container.

Serve.

Take all your ingredients


line a pan with parchment and set aside


in a sifter take milk powder


add in cocoa powder


sieve it and set aside


take sugar in a pan


add in water


mix well


bring it to a boil


cook on medium heat


cook till 1 string consistency is formed
when you take some of the syrup between your finger, 
you will be able to form 1 string like this

add in butter




add in the mix


give a good mix


spoon over the parchment paper


spread it out


let it set for few hours


cut into squares


Serve

    I am not sure what went wrong but instead of becoming a mould, the end result has become all powdery. Can you suggest what i can do now?
