Tomato Basil Chutney Recipe

This aromatic and tasty tomato basil chutney which is not only tasty but is so delicious. You can enjoy it with hot idlies or dosa.

Ingredients

  • Oil - 3 tblsp
  • Garlic - 6 cloves
  • Dry Red Chillies - 6
  • Tomato - 2 chopped
  • Fresh Basil a handful
  • Tamarind a small piece
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil, fry chillies and garlic till brown.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till it gets mushy.
  • Add in tamarind, salt and mix well.
  • Add in basil and mix well.
  • Cool this and grind to a paste.
  • Serve with idli or chutney.

1)Take all your ingredients

2)Heat oil in a pan

3)Add garlic and chillies

4)Saute them till brown

5)Add in tomatoes

6)MIx well

12)Cool this and take it in a blender

13)Grind till coarse

14)Pour it in a bowl
