    Tomato Mint Chutney Recipe - Thakkali Pudhina Chutney Recipe with step wise pictures.

    Super fragrant and easy to make tomato mint chutney which goes well with idli or dosa. You can have this with some roti as well.

    Fast and easy chutney chutney or pachadi recipe. This taste so good with pongal, it taste so good with poori or chapati too.

    Tomato Mint Chutney Recipe

    Ingredients
      

    • Oil - 1 tblsp
    • Dry Red Chillies - 2
    • Tomatoes - 2 chopped
    • Mint Leaves - 1 cup
    • Tamarind - a small piece
    • Salt to taste
    • Sugar to tast

    FOR SEASONING:

    • Oil - 1 tblsp
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - ½ tsp
    • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - ½ tsp
    • Curry Leaves a sprig

    Instructions
     

    • Heat oil in a pan,add dry red chillies and saute for a min.
    • Add tomatoes and cook till mushy.
    • Add in mint and mix well. Add tamarind and mixwell.
    • Take it in a blender and add in salt and sugar. Puree till smooth.
    • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and urad dal. Add curry leaves and let them sizzle.
    • Add tomato mix and stir.
    • Serve with idli or dosa.
