Coconut chutney takes place in our breakfast menu quite often, since hubby loves it so much. Oil – 1 tblspn
Dry Red Chilli – 2 to 4
Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu – 3 tblspn
Coconut – 1 cup grated
Tamarind – 1 small piece
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Heat oil in a pan, add in chilli and urad dal and cook till golden.
Add in coconut, tamarind and toss well for 2 mins,.
Now take this in a blender, add salt to taste. Add little water at a time and puree till smooth.
Serve with idli or dosa.
