Vanilla Panna Cotta Recipe
Panna cotta is an italian dessert which is also known as milk dessert. The real taste of a panna cotta comes from the milk and cream which we use. Make sure you use best quality milk and cream while make panna cotta. Also you have to use full fat milk and cream for best results.
Don't add too much gelatin than mentioned which will make the panna cotta to set too much and you won't get the proper bouncy texture.

How to Make Vanilla Panna Cotta Recipe

Take water in a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over the water and let it sit for 5 mins.

Now take milk in a sauce pan, sprinkle sugar on top. Bring it to a simmer. Don't let it boil.

Now take if off the heat and add in the soaked gelatin and mix till combined.

Now add in cream and vanilla bean paste and mix well.

Pour it into small mould and place it in fridge overnight

To unmould, gently release the sides of the panna cotta using a butter knife.

Dip it in warm water for just few2 seconds.

Un mould it carefully in serving plate.

Serve with berry compote and caramelized nuts.

Vanilla Panna Cotta Recipe | Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk
- ½ cup Cream
- 1.5 tsp Gelatin
- ⅓ cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions
- Take water in a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over the water and let it sit for 5 mins.
- Now take milk in a sauce pan, sprinkle sugar on top. Bring it to a simmer. Don't let it boil.

- Bloom gelatin in cold water.
- Once you add the cream don't else the fat from milk may separate.
- Add more sugar if needed.
- Dont use too much gelatin than mentioned, else the panna cotta texture may get changed.
- Instead of gelatin you can use agar agar. You can follow this recipe.

1)Take all your ingredients
2)Take water in a small bowl
3)Sprinkle gelatin over it.
4)Leave to soak for 10 mins
5)take milk in a sauce pan
6)Add sugar
7)Heat till it simmers.
8)Now the milk has started to boil.
8)take it off the heat and add in the soaked gelatin.
9)Whisk till combined
10)Add in cream
11)Add vanilla extract. This is my homemade vanilla bean extract
12)Mix well. The black seeds you see on top are pure vanilla bean.
13)take your moulds.
14)Pour custard on top.
15)Pop this in fridge and leave to set overnight.
16)Run a knife around the panna cotta.
17)Dip it in warm water for just 2 seconds.
18)Un mould.
19)Perfect set panna cotta.
20)Serve with compote and caramelized nuts.
