South Indian Chicken Fry

Chicken Fry
I know I know, Fried chicken is everyone’s favorite..This is a southindian kind of fried chicken recipe..I have already posted a Fake KFC Chicken,but this one is completely different from that.This have lot of spices in it and it is extremely tasty.I served it with baby corn briyani...So please try this and let me know what you think...

Ingrediants:

Chicken-1/2 kg
Ginger garlic paste-1 tblspn
Red chilli powder-1 tblspn
Coriander powder(malli podi)- 1tblspn
Turmeric powder(manjal podi)-1 tsp
Cumin powder(jeera podi)-1 tsp
Garam masala powder-2 tsp
Saunf(sombu)-1 tsp
Cinnamon(pattai)-1 inch piece
Cumin seeds(jeera)-1 tsp
Green chilli-2 chopped
Coriander leaves-1/2 cup chopped
Egg-1
Pepper-1 tsp
Red colour-a pinch
Corn flour-1 tblspn
Maida-1 tblspn
Lemon juice-2 tblspn
Salt-to taste
Oil-for deep frying

Method:

Mix all the ingrediants except oil with the chicken and marinate it for around 3 hours or overnight.

Then heat oil for deep frying and fry the chicken for 10-20 min.till cooked and golden.

Serve with fresh salad and a squeeze of lemon juice.

    I tried this recipe dis weekend. it was awesome. The spice level which you mentioned is perfect for our taste. I inboxed you the pic aswell. One thing may be i did a mistake, while frying the chicken, the masala starts to seperate in oil. maybe i missed some level.

    And i read some of your recipes though i bookmarked to prepare. You have good photography also. I saw one of your youtube video. It was wonderful. Great going Aarthi. Happy to found your blog. looking forward to try your other recipes soon :)
