Mango Crumble Recipe - Single Serving

 If you crave for a sweet desert at anytime of the week, the the answer would be MAKE A CRUMBLE. It is so easy to make, just calls for few ingredients which you already have in your pantry and it is quite forgiving recipe too. If you have any fruits like apples, strawberries, pear or anything no too watery in your hand then you are in business.

The cool thing about this is, you can make it to your guest who drop in without any notice. You can make this into individual portions to serve them. Once afternoon after our lunch, i started craving for something sweet. The only fruit i had on hand is some ripe sweet mangoes. So i decided to make a crumble just for myself and got into action. Put few things together and 20 mins later i had a yummy desert for solitary indulgence.Hope you like this and off you go to the recipe..

Note: Crumble topping can be made in bulk and stored in freezer for many months.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Baking Time : 20 to 25 mins
Makes One Serving


Ripe Mangoes- 1 cup

Cornflakes - 1 tblspn crushed
Granulated Sugar - 1 tsp

For Crumble Topping:

All Purpose Flour / Maida -3 tblspn
Cold Unsalted Butter - 1.5 tblspn cut into small cubes

Sugar - 2 tblspn

Instant Oats - 1 tblspn


Preheat the oven to 180 Degree C / 360 Degree F.

Start by making the crumble topping, Take a bowl and add in flour. 

Add in cold cubed butter and using your fingers rub the flour into the butter, so it resembles crumbly mixture.

Now add in oats and sugar and use a fork to mix this. Set this mixture in the freezer till use. So it remains cold.

Now take a ramekin or any bowl and spoon in the ripe mango pieces in the bottom, take the crumble out of the fridge and spoon the mixture on top of the mangoes.

Sprinkle some granulated sugar and cornflakes on top and bake it for 20 to 25 mins till the top is golden and set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool down for 10 mins.

Scoop some vanilla icecream on top and dig in..

Take all your ingredients

Take flour in a bowl

Add butter to it

Rub it with your fingers

It should be coarse

Add in oats

Some sugar

And fork through

Set it in freezer till use

Take a ramekin or a small bowl

Spoon the mangoes in it

Remove the topping from the freezer

Scoop them over the mangoes

Sprinkle some sugar for crusty top

Sprinkle few crushed cornflakes

And bake


Taste great with icecream
