  1. Hi Aarthi, nice to see this recipe will definitely try. I'm from Tirunelveli(Brahmin) we usually eat idly/dosai with milagai podi and curd. In my college days lot of people were never heard of eating eating idly/dosai with curd. But looks like it is coming in a different form now :)

BTW, you can try the same without podi for Maha. We used to give my kids idly with curd. They still love it. When you mash idly, use curd instead of water or any other liquid you may use.

  2. Hiiii

  6. Hi sis,

Tried this recipe. I usually avoid the Curd Vadai recipe as it is very sour. But, just like the name, this recipe tasted different & so delicious. I served it to my family piping hot. They just loved it! I wish you post different variations to this recipe. I am an avid follower of your blog. Tried many recipes like biryani, potato curries etc. The best part is you haven't posted any recipes name-sake. Every recipe is different and I can see the hard work you put with this blog. Keep going! Good luck!

  7. pl tell me which type of rice you soaked- raw or parboiled or a combi?
great if you could be of help- thks
