Tandoori Chicken Wrap Recipe


This has become my favourite wrap, It is so easy to make, I just marinated the chicken with a spicy and easy marinate just like the one you use for tandoori chicken and grilled it in oven..You can grill them in a outdoor grill or a grill pan.. The addition of crunchy lettuce gives this wrap its unique taste..


This wrap is pretty easy to make and it taste really healthy and filling. I made this for my hubby and me for lunch and so delicious....This is great to put in your kids lunch box as well, when you are making for kids, reduce the chilli level.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Marination Time : 1 hour
Cooking Time : 15 to 20 mins
Makes: 4 to 6 wraps

Ingredients:

Tortilla / Chapati  - 4 to 6
Chicken Breast - 2 large cut into strips
Cabbage or Lettuce as needed sliced thinly
Mayonnaise as needed

For Marination:
Yogurt / Curd - 1 cup
Cream - 3 tblspn
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 tsp ( for colour)
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tblspn
Oil - 2 tblspn
Kasuri Methi Leaves - 2 tsp crushed
Salt to taste
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn

Method:

Mix all the marination ingredients. Add chicken strips in and mix well. Leave to marinate for an hour.

Preheat oven in grill mode to 200 degree C . Line a baking tray with foil and grease it with oil.

Arrange strips in the tray and grill this for 5 mins, brush some marination over it and grill for 5 more mins.

Now remove it and brush some oil over it and grill for another 5 more mins or till chicken is cooked.

Take tortilla, spread some mayo over and sprinkle some lettuce and lay chicken over it. Roll it and serve.

Take yogurt in a bowl


add little cream


add in ginger garlic paste


add in chilli and coriander powder


add in some kashmiri chilli powder for colour


add in salt


add in garam masala powder


add in cumin powder


Add in kasuri methi leaves


some lemon juice


add some oil


mix well


now add in chicken strips


mix well..leave this to marinate for few hours


line a baking tray with foil..grease it well with oil


lay strips in it


grill it for few mins


brush some more marination over it, if you have it


grill for few more mins


now it is done


slice some cabbage


Take a roti or tortilla..spread some mayo





sprinkle some cabbage or lettuce


lay chicken over it


roll it 


roll it tightly


you can wrap it with foil or some butter paper
