    Grape Iced Tea

    I love making iced tea when it is hot here. I have already shared a mango iced tea recipe in this blog. Will be sharing many more version soon.

    Ingredients for Grape Iced Tea

    • Seedless Grapes - 2 cups
    • Water - 2 cups
    • Green Tea / Black Tea - 1 tbsp
    • Lemon Juice - as needed
    • Ice Cubes as needed
    • Lemon Slices for garnishing

    For Simple Syrup :

    • Sugar - ½ cup
    • Water - ½ cup

    How to Make Grape Iced Tea

    1. Start by washing grapes, soak grapes in water along with some salt for 30 mins. This removes the dirt from it. Drain it and set aside.
    2. Now make the tea, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. add in tea and turn off the heat, let it steep for 10 mins.
    3. Drain and put this in fridge or freezer till it is cold.
    4. Now take grapes in a blender and puree till smooth. Strain and chill till cold.
    5. Now lets make simple syrup, take sugar and water in a sauce pan.
    6. Heat till the sugar is melted and the syrup comes to a boil. Turn off the heat and let it cool completely in fridge.
    7. Now take a glass, add some ice cubes, chilled grapes juice, chilled simple syrup, and chilled green tea.
    8. Add a slice of lemon in it and serve cold.

    I have heard that they use lots of chemicals in cultivating
    them, so this is how i wash them..
    I take them in a bowl

    cover it with water, add some salt to it

    now i soak them for 30 mins

    While the grapes are soaking..Take 2 cups of water
     in a sauce pan

    Bring it to a good boil

    Add in tea..I used green tea, you can use black tea

    turn the heat off and let it steep for 10 mins

    now drain it and chill this till it gets cold,
     i pop them in freezer to make it get cold sooner

    squeeze as much liquid as possible
