I love to sneak oats in my cooking, snacks and everything. They are such a amazing stuff to make anything. You can check out the oats recipes in my blog. I added cornflakes in this too, to give that crunch effect to the ladoos.  You can add nuts in this too, but i added dates, kishmish to make it even more tasty.

It is so easy to make, i added jaggery in this. But you could use sugar too.Make this immediately and give it to your kids, they will love it for sure.

Preparation Time : 15 mins

Makes – 12 ladoos

Ingredients:

Quick Cooking Oats – 1 cup
Cornflakes – 1.5 cup
Jaggery / Sarkarai – 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
Ghee – 1 tsp + greasing hands
Dates – 5 chopped finely
Kishmish / Sultanas – 3 tblspn
Cardamom Powder / Yelakai – 1 tsp
Milk – 3 tblspn

Method:

Dry roast oats in a kadai for 5 mins. Remove to a plate and let it cool down. Now take that in a blender and powder it slightly. Add it to a bowl.

Take cornflakes in a blender and crush it coarsely. Add it to the same bowl.

Take jaggery in a blender and powder it finely. Add it to the same bowl.

Add in dates, kishmish, cardamom powder, ghee and mix well.

Now Sprinkle some milk over it and mix well so it gets to the consistency of making ladoos.

Form small balls from this.

Place this in a air tight container and serve.
